TEI of Thessaly in the framework of LIFE Adapt2change "Adapt
Agricultural Production to climate change and limited water
supplies" project organizes on April 08, 2016 at 15.30 p.m. a
conference entitled "INNOVATIVE APPLICATIONS in agri-food and
environmental sectors."
The event is based on the premise that "Every farmer has
at his disposal and an oil well."
During the conference practical approaches to climate change
adaptation will be demonstrated, emphasizing the requirements of
sound management of Water resources and energy in agriculture.

of water resources and proposals for autonomous geothermal
greenhouses will be also presented. Further, the objectives and
results of the implementation of pilot geothermal greenhouses in
Adapt2change project, quantitative and qualitative characteristics
of production and technology and automation will be presented
which were used in the autonomous geothermal greenhouses and
innovative practices implemented by the use of geothermal energy
in agricultural production.
Finally, the utilization methods of shallow geothermal energy in
the primary sector will be analyzed and will present concrete
examples of geothermal applications. Moreover, it will become's
